Sarah
Crispo is a classically trained singer who began singing at the age of
five. She always knew she wanted to be a singer. When she was eleven years
old she began studying with a voice teacher from the Juilliard School.
Sarah won the B'Nai Brith Award for young soloist of the year in June
of 1997. She is a graduate of La Guardia High School of the Performing
Arts in Manhattan and received her bachelor's degree in opera performance
from the D'Angelo School of Music in Erie, PA.
Sarah
has performed in many wedding ceremonies, private parties and other engagements.
She performed the role of Despina from Mozart's "Cosi Fan Tutte"
with the Erie Phillharmonic Orchestra and was the soprano soloist to new
music for the silent film "The Phantom of the Opera" with the
world famous I Musici de Montreal Orchestra. She also performed for Mayor
Rudolph Guilliani at Gracy Mansion in 1997. Sarah won first place in the
NATS Competition in Manhattan this past October and continues to sing
professionally.
